Top 7 Dream Vacation Destinations With Kids

Top 7 Dream Vacation Destinations With Kids

Traveling with kids can be downright tricky! From the disruption in sleep to the packing, it's whole different ballgame than a trip with friends. That's why it's important to choose a destination that you, your spouse, and your kids will all enjoy! Here are seven great travel destinations for you and family.

#1 Bulgaria

Bulgaria is one of the few warm destinations that hasn’t been flooded by tourists, which makes it perfect for exploration. It's quickly becoming a tourist hotspot with lots of things to do both for children and for their parents. Moreover, the country has many cheap resorts that everyone will be able to afford.

Bulgaria also has many old fortresses and temples to explore. Thanks to the country being located by the Black Sea, there are many sunny beaches where you can swim and sunbathe. Bulgarian cuisine is also worth trying out, so don’t miss that opportunity.

#2 Spain

Another hot country you might want to visit with your family is Spain. Known for everything from sports to cuisine, Spain has been a tourist favorite for many decades now. Spain is particularly affordable in the autumn and spring.

Just like in Bulgaria, Spain has many child-friendly places including hotels. There are beautiful white-sand beaches to relax on and many attractions to visit. If you are not a fan of the sea, you can always find a resort with a pool.

#3 Mexico

Mexico's Caribbean coast is famous for its hot tropical climate that attracts many tourists—particularly during the winter months and the beginning of spring.

Mexican food is well-known all around the world. However, there are many other cool things you can do in Mexico apart from eating spicy food. The numerous beaches are just a small part of it, but there is also the Copper Canyon and the Chichen Itza—known as one of the Mayan metropolises.

#4 Lapland

Almost every child knows that Lapland is the place where Santa Claus lives. In fact, if you look for information on Christmas or New Year traditions in different languages (with the help of a translation service like The Word Point), you will discover that many cultures have similar beliefs about this not-so-mystical land.

Lapland is located in Finland and has all the Christmas bells and whistles, from Santa Claus to his helping elves and even the reindeers. Children will love it and you'll feel like kids yet again. Lapland is also known for its many winter sports, including skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, sleigh riding, and more.

#5 Cyprus

Cyprus is a combination of the breathtaking marvels of Ancient Greece and modern resorts filled with happy tourists. If you like waterparks and your kids do too, this is a great destination. The local cuisine is also fantastic.

When it comes to the more cultural side of this country, Cyprus has numerous temples, fortresses, and other ancient buildings open for visitors. You can also rest on the beach or visit famous Mount Olympus.

#6 Italy

Italy is yet another country famous for its cuisine. Italy is also known for beautiful natural landscapes. Just like Cyprus, Italy has many ancient buildings and structures (think of its most famous one, the Colosseum). You might want to climb Italy’s local Mount Vesuvius (and discover Pompeii). You can also go on a pilgrimage to the Vatican.

#7 Majorca

Majorca, also known as Mallorca, is an island located off the eastern coast of Spain. It includes everything you would want from a family-friendly resort. From sunny beaches to entertaining attractions, Majorca has it all.

Spending a vacation with your family somewhere abroad can be fun—as long as you're all enjoying it. Each of these destinations is perfect for children and adults alike. Where do you love to travel with your family?
